Tracy began taking yoga classes as a way to deal with stress and immediately loved it. Never one who found success in meditation, she found that slow flow classes were like a moving meditation that helped quiet her “monkey brain”, a phrase she uses a lot to describe how much her mind jumps from idea to idea. Also, she loved how yoga involved the whole body at once- breath, strength and flexibility, concentration and mental focus. Tracy Danielak graduated from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science in 1993 with a Masters in Physical Therapy. She has practiced in a variety of settings including outpatient orthopedics, outpatient neurology, home care geriatrics and home care pediatrics. She has always believed strongly in patient education, especially in clients understanding anatomy and physiology as it relates to their conditions. She has always strived to demystify the concept that anatomy and physiology is hard to understand and uses analogies, interactive labs and hands on materials when teaching. Tracy completed her 200 hour YTT in 2017. She enjoys combining her two worlds of yoga and physical therapy into one, and finds that the ancient practices of yoga and the much newer practices of physical therapy meld together seamlessly.
